When we first had Frank I took him to another groomers in Chester.  She was very rude about the breed and questioned why I had got a Pug and I felt anxious about leaving him.

Pip likes nothing better than to do what Cocker Spaniels do best, which is to get tangled up in bushes. Consequently, I brought her in to you with a fair bit of matting and tangles, particularly her ears but you did a first class grooming on her coat and feathering, which is an important visual feature on Cockers.

We have taken both of our dogs to Sharon at ‘Top Dog Groomers’ for the past fourteen years or so.

Sharon is very professional regarding her grooming and has given us some very useful advice over the years.

Sharon understands the different dog breeds very well and how best to clip a specific breed. She takes into account the type of coat the individual dog has etc.  and points out what the owners should pay particular attention to in order to keep the dog comfortable and prevent any foreseeable problems by lack of good grooming.

Sharon does a very god job. She never rushes the dog and is very aware of trying to create a good relationship with the dog so as to cause as little stress as possible.

I have been taking my dog Hugo to be groomed with Sharon for 6 years.

Hugo is a Irish Coated Wheaton terrier. This means he has long blonde wiry hair that becomes quite matted.  

Sharon is always pleased to see Hugo and immediately puts him at ease. She has a very soothing nature with him and I trust her with his precious coat.  

The appointments vary between 2-3 hours depending on what he has done.  Sharon listens to my requests and will advise me on what she thinks is best.

I like taking Hugo to Sharon she provides a convenient local service that I believe is good value for money. 

Hugo always looks a million dollars when I pick him up and we often call him Mr Fluffy.

Our little terrier, Poppy has become very weary of getting a haircut. Last time she even tried to make a run for it down the road!

Having heard lots of good things about Top Dog roomers we thought we would give it a go. And we were not disappointed.

Sharon has a lovely way with the dogs. Poppy was a lot calmer and didn't try and run away!!

We first took our Springer Spaniel Gemma and Boxer George to Sharon in 2003. I felt very comfortable taking them to Sharon, they always came back happy and looking stunning.

Sharon took special care of Gemma who suffered from bad skin allergies. She  was very compassionate with George who developed cancer. They are now in doggie heaven. Sharon was a great support to us throughout this time.

Our current family consists of 2 Boxers “Princess” Hetti and “Prince” Albert as Sharon calls them!

They adore Sharon and she treats them as if they were her own. They always return home totally chilled and looking gorgeous.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Sharon for the highly professional excellent makeover she performed on Tom my Shit Tzu.

I live in Wales and normally have Tom groomed at home however, I have been staying with my daughter in Chester and Tom desperately needed a makeover, I was recommended to Sharon by a friend of my daughters.

Tom normally hates being showered and grooming sessions can be a bit fraught, however with Sharon he was calm and relaxed. It is obvious she loves dogs and knows the best way to handle and treat each individual dog.
