Your dog’s ears are very important. Just something as simple as not being able to hear a recall clearly could have severe consequences on a park or even worse, near a road.

As well as maintaining control over your dog, regular ear cleaning is also a crucial part of preventive care for your dog. This is because dirty ears will eventually cause ear infections, which not only causes unnecessary suffering (and even permanent deafness) for your dog but you will also end up having to pay an unnecessary (and probably expensive) vet bill.

Unfortunately because of your dogs design, their ear canals are long, curved warm and moist and become dirty very easily and quickly so this regular grooming task cannot be more strongly advised.
